OK. I JUST LISTEN TO HER SINGLE “I LIKE HIM.” TO BE HONEST, AT 3:22, THAT’S THE BEST PART ON THE WHOLE SONG. THE MELADY TO THE CHORUS FITS THE BEAT NICE, BUT THE HARMONIZING PART SUCKS. THE SONG DOESN’T SHOW HER VOCAL RANGE. SHE SOUNDED WAY BETTER BACK THAN WHEN SHE WAS ON XSCAPE AND WHEN SHE WENT SOLO, NOW I DON’T KNOW, HER VOICE IS NOT GOOD ON THIS TRACK. THIS SONG IS NOT MET FOR HER. SHE NEEDS SONGS THAT WOULD WORK WELL WITH HER VOCAL ABILITIES. THIS SONG IS NOT A HIT SINGLE, THIS SONG WOULD NOT REACH NUMBER 1 ON THE BILLBOARD HOT 100. I’M A LITTLE DISAPPOINTED ON TODAY’S MUSIC, TODAY’S MUSIC NEEDS A LOT OF IMPROVEMENT.

I don’t know what these Kats is talking about…but I like this joint. Maybe cause I haven’t herd the original song to the beat…if there is an original..idk. I’ve always liked Kandi the best out of Xscape. She does indeed still got it though. And I agree she should hook back up with So So Def.

WTF?? Kandi sounds like a cat that got rain on. I’m not a hater, I keep it real rather you like it or not. She’s way to mature to sing songs like this. Theres no growth in her vocals when I listen to this song. She’s way better when she’s with her group Xscape because with all of their voices, it blends beautifully. Her “SKIN DEEP ALBUM” was ok, I didn’t think her voice sounded so bad on most of the tracks on the album. But the “HEY KANDI ALBUM” sucked! That album showed that she can’t sing for shit even though she can sing, it just didn’t show her singing abilities on that last album of hers. Plus all the songs on the album sucks.
For your information, Kandi isn’t the best vocalist when it comes to LaTocha Scott vocal abilities. Look at Mariah, she was an amazing singer when she came out. Her music had meaning and soul, now she’s doing them bubble gum pop shit that’s way to mature for Mariah’s age. I was a big fan of Mariah when she first came out with “VISION OF LOVE”, but now I just don’t like Mariah’s music nomore, 2001 was the last time I bought her album even the “CHARM BRACELTET” album was dope, it’s just wasn’t the same Mariah nomore. I hate that new song of hers.
The beat to “I LIKE HIM” sounds like it was made on a frooty loops programmer, it sounds cheap. Na, this song is garbage; try again!

I can’t tell who’s who on the track. Kandi and Rasheeda don’t have a similar voice from eachother, they both sound alike, it’s hard to tell. They both don’t sound good on the track though, Keri Hilson would sound better on this particular track. Rasheeda can’t sing! I can’t believe that Slip N Slide records are now signing R&b wannabe’s, before it was a rap label. I sometimes wonder does the music industry cares for real talent??? Obviously not.

I love Kandi and the work that she has done. I don’t think this song is a true display of her talents. This girl can write her ass off and can have that same attitude as Monica. I listened to it once and couldn’t remember the hook, FOR ME,, that means back to the lab..
I think someone says this is a Nitti beat, I don’t know, but I know Nitti is a great producer, but them Synth sounds are gone man, take it out the track and let us check it out….. The whole Lil John “Yeah” type of sounds are finally over, thank god AUTOTUNE took that sound out.. LOL

Nitti on R&B? Ummmmmm. Not impressed. I really used to look up to dude some years ago. Oh well I guess that what happend’s. His songs all are missing something lately. He needs to team up with a keyboard player, or some one with musicality. The singing was really shaky and pitchy!!!!!!! The autotune/ Melodyne vocal correction didnt help. I wouldnt support this artist……. Lyrics also get a Boooooooooooooo! Rasheeda? just ok……… Rick Ross didnt sound bad on this. All together really tragic song. Much respect.
But for real? This just aint it.

Kandi’s music reminds me of some watered down (no shade by saying that either) Lil Mo shit. She spits real shit… but idkkkk.. sometimes, instead of doing a “hell yeah” to get lyrics, I do a “typical”. Feel me? IDK… No shade to her.. I like Kandi… but idkkkk… its almost like same shit different toilet with her.
