Overall, the best tracks are the ones that have already been released…..very short mixtape (my version was 11 tracks, I’m not sure on the official track list)….I don’t think there’s anything exceptional offered concept wise. I think J.D and team could have put a little more thought into capitalizing on a very entertaining theme they have going and offered a more clearly defined statement of the “Ocean’s 7″ movement. Still looking forward to see hearing more music…..

:sigh: I really hate to do this but I have to be diplomatic about the situation. I wouldn’t be a true Lifer if I didn’t provide the appropriate feedback. I was and still am excited about the mixtape. I’m thoroughly listening to it as I type…. but I must say that I’m just not pleased because it’s not what I thought it would be. I HATE THAT USHER IS NOWHERE TO BE FOUND ON THE TAPE! (I believe his voice was on the last interlude.) I hate that there are 7 songs (5 of which we’ve heard/3 of which we’ve heard in its entirety), 3 interludes (2 of which are from the Living the Life episodes) and the Kid Cudi track with a JD verse. I hate that there’s no ballad with Usher, Johnta and Trey. I hate the fact that the mixtape seems rushed. I don’t think that the hype received was deserved. The quality (and quality isn’t the right word) doesn’t meet the standards of the Ocean’s “3000 and 9 shit” to me. I know and understand that y’all are very busy businessmen, artists, writers, producers, friends, boyfriends, fathers, etc. and I know that the mixtape is free but…. I don’t know…. I feel like time should have been a factor in the mixtape making process because the effort was definately there. You have great songs as proof of that. I actually feel bad because I’ve read all the other comments and I seem to be the only one with an opposing outlook. PLEASE, don’t take this as hating because it’s far from it. I rep y’all HARD, tell everybody about the Oceans and suffer through the harsh criticism (because my friends don’t half way jam the music that I fucks with). Just know that “bad” feedback is just as good as good feedback in my point of view.
Anyway, I have to mention the positive to balance out this comment. Soooo…. “Amazing” is THE SHIT, I love the harmony of “Ain’t I” and of course “So Much Swagg” has so much swagg…… “Go hard like a stiff dick, pause!” Best line of the mixtape. From your BB, go to mini.opera.com and download the app. Once it’s downloaded, open the app so that it installs. Once it installs, you can surf the web from that application. Go to global14.com. Click the link to downlaod the file. You should be able to download it with no problem…granted you have a newer BB. I have a Bold and I can download large files. Hope that works.

Mixtape Review: 6.5/10
Overall, the best tracks are the ones that have already been released…..very short mixtape (my version was 11 tracks, I’m not sure on the official track list)….I don’t think there’s anything exceptional offered concept wise. I think J.D and team could have put a little more thought into capitalizing on a very entertaining theme they have going and offered a more clearly defined statement of the “Ocean’s 7″ movement. Still looking forward to see hearing more music…..

:sigh: I really hate to do this but I have to be diplomatic about the situation. I wouldn’t be a true Lifer if I didn’t provide the appropriate feedback. I was and still am excited about the mixtape. I’m thoroughly listening to it as I type…. but I must say that I’m just not pleased because it’s not what I thought it would be.
I HATE THAT USHER IS NOWHERE TO BE FOUND ON THE TAPE! (I believe his voice was on the last interlude.) I hate that there are 7 songs (5 of which we’ve heard/3 of which we’ve heard in its entirety), 3 interludes (2 of which are from the Living the Life episodes) and the Kid Cudi track with a JD verse. I hate that there’s no ballad with Usher, Johnta and Trey. 
I hate the fact that the mixtape seems rushed. I don’t think that the hype received was deserved. The quality (and quality isn’t the right word) doesn’t meet the standards of the Ocean’s “3000 and 9 shit” to me. 
I know and understand that y’all are very busy businessmen, artists, writers, producers, friends, boyfriends, fathers, etc. and I know that the mixtape is free but…. I don’t know…. I feel like time should have been a factor in the mixtape making process because the effort was definately there. You have great songs as proof of that. I actually feel bad because I’ve read all the other comments and I seem to be the only one with an opposing outlook. PLEASE, don’t take this as hating because it’s far from it. I rep y’all HARD, tell everybody about the Oceans and suffer through the harsh criticism (because my friends don’t half way jam the music that I fucks with). Just know that “bad” feedback is just as good as good feedback in my point of view. 
Anyway, I have to mention the positive to balance out this comment. Soooo…. “Amazing” is THE SHIT, I love the harmony of “Ain’t I” and of course “So Much Swagg” has so much swagg…… “Go hard like a stiff dick, pause!” Best line of the mixtape.

First all, I am NOT HATING…jus tellin yall my opinion.
I honestly thought the mixtape would have been better. It seems as tho the best songs (owe me sex, vegas baby, and too much swag) had already been released. So I anticipated that those songs were jus teasers n u guys were gonna come harder, but I was disappointed. Mind you, it’s still good music, but it fails to position you guys as the best of the best n where every song should be hittin hard.

One of the better mixtapes I’ve had the pleasure of listening to…
I was highly disappointed that Usher was no where to be found, && i was really looking forward to there being a sexy ballad since there are so many singers in the group..
But anything with the boy Songz is enough to keep me interested…
Overall, I thought it was good. Not a classic, but still special in the sense that music like this doesnt come around very often..
My fav joints are So Much Swag, I Need That Girl (Jd went ham on his verse), && Ain’t I (Johnta made it sound sooooo sexy!! lol)..
Instantly put it on my mp3 (i dont own an i-pod..dont pay for the brand name..just need the quality)..
&& I DJ parties so it’s definitly going into heavy rotation..
Can’t wait for VOLUME 2!!!!!!!!!

Ok sorry I downloaded this friday, but am just getting around to commenting —graduations and stuff this weekend…you know family stuff. But anyways…first Oceans thank You….this is the first mixtape I have wanted to hear all the way through and put on repeat. I know some people wanted new tracks or things that you hadn’t given us yet, but I love the fact that I know the tracklisting and have it together as a whole CD. I appreciate all the work that you guys put into this. I am not sure whether or not ppl realize , but you did this strictly for the lifers. There was no profit in this so to speak hell the mixtape is free. And we all know time is money.
