As the self proclaimed mayor I felt I had to write this blog
Because it hurt my heart to read the messages that were being posted on twitter about the cities artist and birthday bash. The main reason Atlanta got the way it is is because things here were so much better than other cities i.e. partying, the artist coming from here, the price of living etc…… not only were there artist coming from here good they were the best. Lets use OutKast for example, the hottest rap duo since run dmc from the live shows to the records it was all quality. The message no TI no LUDACRIS is a prime example and then somebody said JD u the mayor you gotta get it back right. One of the biggest misconceptions about me is that the older leaders listen to what I say, (they don’t)I won’t say all but the ones that really need to don’t.
I’m not gonna go on and on about this but this is something I always feared for my city and I just ask that the music community pls pay attention.
