Vans has worked with Disney on another Mickey Mouse themed pack for Fall 2010. The pack consists of a SK8 Hi and a Slip-On. Come come in a red/black canvas colorway with Mickey Mouse featured on it, holding a guitar. Furthermore the mid-sole comes with a print reading “When things get tough, Mickey Mouse goes into action”. Further details are featured on the tongue and in-sole. The pack is being exclusively sold in Japan.

This Fall, the label collaborates with Californian skate brand Vans on a Sk8-Hi and matching rucksack in traditional Filson canvas and bridle leather. “Might as well have the best.”

Vans have collaborated with children’s crayon company Crayola to release a lively take on the Sk8-hi, Authentic and Slip-on. All three feature the broken colouring that you’d expect from a kids colouring book. The sneaker all come with a coloring book made by Crayola specifically for Vans. Look out for a release later this year.

Vans presents as parrt of their upcoming Fall/Winter 2010 Collection the Versa. Fusing style and performance features in the low top sneaker resulted in an overall well rounded product.

“The vision of the Versa was to create a product that was ideal for the next generation of hardcore skateboarders who want a product that can perform and also have a more refined sense of aesthetic style. Alex Olson was a key contributor to this project and explained that he wanted a product that would function perfectly, look good on and off his board, and stand apart from the standard skate shoe design formula. We were really inspired by this idea and set out to blend high performance and high-end style—the result is a very versatile shoe. The upper is based on simple, sophisticated luxury sneakers, while the outsole is a clean, refined version of our classic look. The stylish performance bottom unit delivers the grip and cushioning required by the most demanding professional skaters.”

Expect a release some time later this year.
